Bought a Dremel

It was on a lightning deal on Amazon, so I went ahead and purchased the Dremel 4000. It's by no means small nor the one everyone raved about (darn them for discontinuing it), but it was cheap and it comes with the extension, so hopefully the dogs won't freak out too much and it's easier to hold. I'm excited to try it....but we need some conditioning first.

I'm also curious to see what else I can use it for. Haha.
 
I am very happy for my "grinder" I spent some time doing Minnie familiar with it - so I was curious how it would go when she should try the first time, but it went really well, so now it's a weekly routine . :yes:
 
I love mine. I even have taught the kitten to let me use it on her - much easier than the clippers (which I loaned to my boss for his cat).
 
I finally put the thing together and 30 minutes later, was running it and giving the dogs treats. So far, Koji doesn't seem bothered by the sound at all. But that will be different when I have him on his back and that thing near his nails. He hates that. So, more treats. :) Vogue comes for treats but stares at it like it's going to kill her any moment, but food is very important, so eat treats first while watching it like a hawk. LMAO!

Oh, I attached the flex shaft for easier handling (for me) and for less sound (I can move the main unit away from the dogs). For now, all I have is the 1/2" bit, so we're going to go for it. I tried it on my nails, not bad. BF said, "oh look, a buffer. You can buff their nails afterwards". Haha.

I'm excited. So, today was day 1. I may try Koji's nails tomorrow, as in putting him in position, bully stick in his mouth, and see how he does with the sound. I think I'll just touch it (not while it's running) to his nails, so he gets what I'm doing.

Vogue, I think will take longer..or just put up with it. We'll see. Not sure if she'd like a bully stick in her mouth too. Haha.

I'm super excited.

Okay, see, I'm not losing it. I swear that's what Rachel had told me. But she acted like she is deathly scared of the thing. I bet you, she just wanted the bison jerky that I was giving Koji. Oh that naughty little girl.

BTW, do you know if or what her command to stack is? Sometimes, she refuses to stand up (she just plops her butt down or plops on her side wanting a tummy rub). If not, I can ask Rachel.
