Box Work

Ohh....I wouldn't want to either. I still haven't been able to get in contact with any of the other trainers. Sheesh. But then, I have been sick, maybe I'll try again Monday. Ditto with the chiropractors. I think everyone is "off" still. And did I tell you how much the chiros were charging here? About double what you pay.

Everything got off track and I'm still finding my way back. I can't believe the holidays are over already. I still need to figure out Koji. Maybe he just needed a break? lol.

I can not believe the holdidays are over either.Glad to hear you are feeling better.It sucks being sick.I feel some what better.I actually ran Sting in class last night.It felt good.God does he have the BIGGEST MOUTH on the east coast.:biggrin2:I think the box work and the attention handling workshops will be a big help to us.I would rather spend the $80.00 on box work with Erin rather than someone who only has CPE and some Novice AKC titles.

You ran Sting? Does this mean you have your voice back? Or did he speak the whole time FOR you? hehehe. Glad you're doing well enough to run. That's at least a good start, right? I can only function, slightly move around, for about 6 hours max before I have to nap, sad, but true. I just woke up, but need to get on a regular schedule so am going to try to get back to bed, lol.

Yup, I'd like a trainer to help me through my issues, who have seen enough dogs with this same issue. Or even had dogs with the same issues. I'd like someone who knows how to train and has the dogs to prove it (many MACHs would be nice). I'm calling those people again tomorrow (oh, it's Saturday, Monday then). I really want to see them privately or something!

Yes,I ran Sting and have somewhat of a voice.He spoke not just for me but all the other dogs in the class and at one point I did something and Erin was trying to tell me to do a false turn and I had to wait till he shut up to hear what she said to me.Doe's that give you and idea how loud that mouth is?
I don't think he likes agility do you?LOL We have a lady here who teachers and it is backayrd agility.She has a Novice title on some of her dogs and when we are at trials the joke that goes around is that you can tell who her students are.None of the dogs know how to weave nor do they have contacts and don't make time.She use to train with the lady I started out with.I hope you find someone.Kojii is a good dog.:biggrin2:
 
I just got the greg derrett training videos a few weeks ago, He is using a double box in most of the videos, all the different exercises he runs just using this double box setup is just flipping amazing.
 
Well, we had boxwork today.It was incredible.I know Sting is fast but being sidelined for a year and seeing someone else run your dog you only get to see the speed from the sidelines and running him today I got to see the speed.All I can say is OMG.He needs alot of work on RC'S amd he was testing me big time to see what he could get away with.
 
Also after getting back from Mass.I ended up going to the walk in clinic because I have been sick with a bad cold and found out I have pneumonia.:no:

I had pneumonia some years ago- was totally wiped out for like a month :(

First, take care of yourself. Pneumonia is nothing to mess with, I'm glad you went to the clinic.

Secondly, glad to hear you're running Sting again....and I bet it feels good (ok, minus being sick).

Still jealous of your box work class, I can't wait for class tomorrow...minus the drive.
