Boy puppy pictures!

It is a short intense period, puppyhood. Just remember you got frustrated a bit while housetraining Minnie. Accidents will happen even if you are vigilant! Along with the exhaustion of keeping track of a young puppy comes so many joyful moments though. Take it one hour at a time when Angus comes home! I remember thinking "OMG" while out with Meadow at the crack of dawn for potty time, but they do grow up so quickly.

And, being a boy, it might not happen as quickly as Minnie. I remember when Glenn had Willow as a pup and I was potty training Brodie. Willow caught on MUCH faster than Brodie did. Worth it in the end because he is so good, but did take time and patience. When my kids were little, I had to go with the mindset of 'they won't go to college wearing diapers' so I kept to that when dealing with potty training the boys.

Hint - I did have both pups wearing a wrap at night when they were young. Brodie had our doxie to play with and Deacon had Brodie and once evening play started, potty training went right out the window! The wraps protected my carpet, allowed them to have fun without accidents, and kept me sane (sorta). I still took them out, even if they went out every 10 minutes accidents would happen without them cuz they just cannot focus on bladders when there's stuff going on, but the wraps went right back on. I shoulda bought stock...
