Brindle Sheltie??? what?

Here is one, supposed to be a brindle sheltie, 2 years old girl, seen at Central Illinois Sheltie Rescue (https://www.facebook.com/ILsheltier...E7ZBoFku3uQzUGuTYmXRKxcfaFtbg6dtYztutLkAd4N5l ). DNA tests done, showing 100% sheltie

if you look at the pix in other previous brindle threads here on SN, you would see that this is not really a brindle sheltie- just a regular shaded sable.............................
Brindle is stripes of black and brown where each hair is one color- black or brown. you can see in the closeup that the hairs are shaded along the length of each individual strand- sable.

I saw that sheltie on Facebook as well and was intrigued by the coloring. There is another shown in the comment section that has a really beautiful coat! .
