bubbles for two

Kaleigh decided bubbles looked inviting, so she joined me in the tub this morning. I was shocked. Kaleigh is my velcro dog and feels that her place is next to me at all times, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but it was funny that she hoped right in. She sampled the bubbles but didn't like the flavor. :ick My previous sheltie loved being in the bathtub with anyone, if she could get the door open, you could expect company, and guests had to be warned as she was no respecter of inhabitants. I thought it was behavior unique to her. I bet Savannah comes to join us eventually. Anything Kaleigh does, Savannah tries as soon as she is able. Sibling/playmate/pack competition:yes: -ah my girls they keep me amused. Having a sheltie means you never will be alone, they M-U-S-T be included in all functions, events, and activities!!!!!

Sounds like fun! I was in the bath last night, and Oberon looked interested, but didn't jump in, just kind of sniffed around the edges.

That's a riot!! Layla will sometimes lie next to the tub, but go in voluntarily? Never!! That's some little cutie you have there!

Kaleigh (love the name, if Olive were more outgoing we were considering Kaylee/Kaywinnit) is far braver than Olive. She will jump out of the tub but never in it! I think I've taken a bath once in the years we've owned her and she kept pacing in and out of the bathroom make sure I was really okay.

:yuckyuck

That is hilarious...
Never heard of a shelte jumping into the tub with their master!

I agree, sheltie want to be next to you at all times!
That is one of the reasons we love them so much!

Bailey would never jump in the tub. She hates getting wet. But ironically, she does like it when I splash her face with water. She stands by the tub and jumps up to catch the water in her mouth.

I had a maltese that would randomly come into the bathroom and jump in the shower with me. It was so bizarre!

Hollie used to jump I'm the tub and shower too! One time DH was in the tub and Hollie comes running in with her ball and jumps right in. I thought it was funny! She had this ball that would sink to the bottom of the tub and she would make it bounce under water with her feet. There were many time I would turn around in the shower and there she was looking at me gettin all soaked.

Shelby on the other hand does not voluntarily of in the tub. She will stand there and beg to lick the water, or lay next to the tub. But will not go in.

But with both dogs everyone needs to make sure the door is latched if you don't want a visitor. His was an issue in our old house, the doors didn't latch properly and Hollie knew if she banged hard enough they would open.

who knew

I think it is hilarious the behaviors of our woofs, and mine keep me guessing which is part of the fun:yes:
