Buck at the vets

Last check up the vet checked Buck for temperament. I thought what is going on?
The vet assistants told me they had Australian Shepards come in that were very
very aggressive and nasty. Well they laughed at Buck, he put his legs around their
neck and gave lots of kisses. Loves people and other dogs. His breeder started him
off great. Lots of social time with his family and not in a cage.

Spitfire was checked for speed.....ooops despite waning them he was not. They trusted him and he was zipping all over the back room under tables etc (back when he was even smaller and young). They came up after about 10 minutes with a firm grip on him and out of breath. I told them they had been warned.

Angus just give them his best crushed act so they dote on him.

Oh and while Sca was alive they all loved him. One vet loved Spitfire the rest were just in awe of him and heeded my warnings about trusting him.

That's such a good pup that allows the rear area to be touched with out flinching.
I remember when I picked up Dewey years ago they were bringing him from the back and his muzzle was looped through the handle of his lead. I always brought his own muzzle because he was very unpredictable. I told the Tech. when we dropped him off that it wasn't a good idea not to use it. and for their safety I wanted it used. He never bit anyone in my time with him but he was not good at the Vets office. :(

I have an Australian Shepherd too and he absolutely loves everyone. He is a “hugger” too. I have heard that some can be aggressive but honestly every one I have ever seen has been friendly and well behaved. Mine gets along very well with my Shelties although their playing styles are a little different.
