Congratulations Chris! A Q is certainly a Q! There are no scores listed on the AKC title paperwork! You know, earning a leg for the first time off leash in a ring environment is major!

You guys make me feel so much better. One of the reason I didn't have kids is that I would have been a rotten, pushy mother. I don't want to be a pushy Sheltie Mom either -- I'm so proud of how far my scaredy boy has come! Tonight he was tired, but he really tried at Rally class. We worked on leash so I could give him quicker corrections when he didn't sit or heel closely. He likes a fast pace, so I'm trying to accommodate him. He did really nice pivot right -- pivot left is sooooo hard to teach! And he loves the jump!

We added a new praise word: a really happy "Yay!" He likes it!
 
Right on! Congrats! No where on that title certificate are scores listed and you PASSED the minimum qualifications for the qualifying leg! Good job!

Beckon is similar to Bailey. They are both timid shelties and have worked very hard to get these Q's.

For me and Bailey, it is an accomplishment to even be competing with all the distractions and scary noises at trials. I am just proud that she can sit and lay down at competitions. I know she can do it at home, but a trial is a different story for a timid dog. So I'll take all the 70's I can get. :biggrin2:
