CanAm 2014

I'm not feeling too great myself. I got a headache halfway through the day and then got really nauseated... ended up actually getting sick. I was also really nauseated last night but I'm not sure if it's my nerves or if I'm coming down with something. Today I was convinced I had a fever, so I stopped at a walgreens on the way back to the motel and got some tylenol, a thermometer, and some ginger ale (no Vernors, but I looked lol). I was not running a fever, but I took a nap and the headache went away. I was also able to eat dinner. Hopefully I keep it down.

Missy is having a great weekend so far. She had her little power lap yesterday and today she had one ball bobble. She tends to do that when she's overly excited. But she's running fast and enjoying herself, and win or lose its all about having fun. All but one of our teammates have never been here before and the consensus is we're having a great time! Hopefully we'll get more people to come next year and have a second team.
 
sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well either.
I know y'all flyball people usually have tons of food out but I know I can't eat anything really substantial until after we're done. Gatorade and stuff like that can help out......
 
Congratulations Missy and ask about ribbons though they cost. We have won one but Sca lost. We had to put him in as height dog plus one of our dogs dropped a couple of balls. Still could do something but as expected I dont expect it. Our first team won two then the other captain got greedy and swapped a slow dog for fast dog and broke out. The are out of the tournament and we continue.

A good chance sca runs every Turn And Burn since the dog having issues is the height dog and Sca is the second shortest. Of course he raises jump 3" for everyone.

But at least my headache is gone
 
We won #2, about to race #3 here in a bit. We've had to go to 5 heats both races. We are the last seeded team in our division soooo... We have our work cut out! Missy is doing great anchoring the team. She's a fast little thing and likes to kick it into gear to win. Unfortunately I suck at passing and I tried to pass too close and for the first time in her Flyball career she went around the jumps! My fault completely.
