Canidae Free grain pure

I am now trying Canidae for my dogs.. Dog food advisor said that it had 5 stars and so I decided it was a good buy.. Any positive changes you found when you bought it? What makes it so good?
 
Canidae has had a lot of recalls over the years, so be careful in feeding it. I used to have my sheltie on Canidae til I got tired of bad batches and recalls. He only half way liked it...he would eat it if he was starving and I wouldn't give him anything else. I switched to Merrick Grain Free dry and he LOVES it. He isn't a food motivated dog so he doesn't engulf it, but he eats it within 30 min and his coat has gotten super shiny and his poo looks great! (just saying)
