I said,"My own Vet said she would opt for the extraction. The specialist then told me of course she did because that is all she has to sell you.

I'm coming in way late to the discussion, but it really sounds like you made the right choice.

I asked my vet what she would do if it was her dog? And she said the extractions because with her luck if she did the root canal the caps would probably fall out and she would just end up having to do the extractions.
