cannot lure to do tricks

Well done with the spinning.

This week I am teaching Deska to play dead. Every time he rolls over for a belly rub I make a gun with my hand and say bang. Didn't take him long to work out when I said bang he should roll over for a belly rub.

You could teach her to get a tissue for you - that's one people love. First give the dog a tissue from your hand and praise her when she takes it. Then when she is taking the tissue make a sneezing sound. Then sit a tissue on the tissue box and teach her to take it from there and eventually move on to pulling it from the box. It is soooo cute.
 
I am getting better with the luring! Yesterday I finally got her to roll over! So exciting! I have been trying and trying and usually she just gets back into a sit from the down, but yesterday she (or I) finally got it, and now she rolls over (still lured).
 
Well done with the rolling over, that's a hard one. I can never get tully to do that, she wont show her belly. Deska was rolling over but wont do it since he has been sick - makes it hard to do the playing dead trick. Finally someone here is offering canine freestyle (dancing with dogs) so I am putting Deska down on the waiting list and we can do a class on tricks to music, what fun.
