Hi, my name is sharon, my husband & i have decided on buying a Sheltie puppy. We just came back from travelling around Australia for the past 2 years & are now nearly ready to get our baby!...Well in saying that, it may still be a while off as we are in the process of extensions out the front & awaiting our front fence to go up!!!....I have been doing heaps of research & think a sheltie will be perfect for us!
I had a lassie collie growing up & adore them, but i think the Sheltie size is perfect, as we still want to do some more travelling!...I look forward to reading more about these beautiful dogs in this forum & hopefully can get some great info from you all.... :smile2:
 
Welcome from a fellow Aussie! Shelties are an excellent travelling companion - I take mine everywhere I go and I meet so many people that way. And luckily in Australia shyness around people is not a trait you see in shelties. All the shelties I know seem to think everyone loves them!
 
Breeders

Hi guys, thank you so much for the nice welcome message. I am just now in the process of ringing breeders, this i am fidning is the hardest part! I think i will need to go and visit some breeders, before deciding on who feels right go with!....
I have a folder of everything to do with our new addition!!!
Well that is everything bar photo's of her...Yep i cant wait to take pics & show her off!!!! :smile2:
