Cheerios for Treats

I'd check the box first- pretty sure that multi-grain actually has more sugar than original cheerios. marketing ploys :(

Pfff, that's funny. Actually Dottie's foster mom uses the regular cheerios. I emailed her yesterday to confirm. I thought I'd just use what she does to limit the changes for poor Dottie.

Cheerios at our house too, Chip is practically chasing me out the door to go to work in the morning so he can go to his crate for his 5 cheerios!

I have a question.........I have switched to a holistic dog food (Blue buffalo weight control and puppy formula) due to finding it was a much better dog food (No grains or fillers).

Since Cheerios is wheat, should I be feeding it since that's what I'm trying to eliminate in their kibble? I'M CONFUSED!!:o

I feed the same Blue Buffalo and also use Cheerios for treats. I don't give them very many in a day so I figure they are doing OK.

I give PLAIN cheerios as treats when Sandstorm and I are training for a specific thing- how to walk past kids and neighbors in a more polite manner. I don't use many, they are very low calorie-I would think the plain ones would be better and not have a negative impact on the dog. The plain cheerios are less sugar/calorie than the others.
