Chelsea does NOT want to play?!?

What great news! Now you can enjoy the Sheltie Shennanigans every day. When it comes to Shelties, more is definitely better! :biggrin2:

That's exactly why I wish there were more shelties in our area, they're all so cute playing together, it would be fun to have a play group :smile2:

Thanks for all the support for Chelsea's new sister. They are SO cute together. Maddie is unbelievable smart!! The other day, just for chuckles, when I was outdoors with them. I had Maddie "walking the plank" within 2 minutes, just by pointing! Chelsea, just sat and watched....you know the interested spectator, NOT a participator! :sleepy:

What activities should I try to get her involved in? Her first mom said she loved to chase a ball, but now she will NOT chase or bring it back. We have stairs going in to the house and she will make about two to three trips up and down to Chelsea and my one. She is lightening fast, but not hyper! I guess Chelsea is my beauty queen, I got tons of comments on how beautiful she is, so guess she is resting on her good looks, and Maddie has decided even though she is really cute, she not going to compete in the beauty arena, so she is going to be the smart one! :biggrin2:

A Bark Out to all my Sheltie Friends

I have to figure out how to send an email response to you that sent me an email...until then, I will post an update here. Chelsea and Maddie are best buds!! They are soooooo cute together. :biggrin2: AND the other day I brought home a teddy bear. Now not sure what is going on...and this is the season for strange happenings, :confused2: but either I have a possessed bear OR they are really having fun with that toy. This bear will show up in the most unlikely places. The other day he was in the yard. I pick him up on the stairs, in the living room, under the cabinet in the bathroom and now even outdoors! And he's not talking.....

Maddie is more adventurous than Chelsea. She has figured out that if you wade out in the water you are free from confines of pesky fences and can visit the neighbors. She has only done that a couple times and the last time I caught her visiting the lab next door I voiced my displeasure in tones that left no doubt and for the next couple days she didn't even want to go outside the gate when I called them to the car. Either she is a fast learner and she wants to please or she doesn't want to risk a repeat of that Tasmania woman! :eek2:

I'm glad to hear that things are going well with both girls! What a smartie pants to figure out that going in the water will get you to the neighbors! I was cracking up when I read that! I liked the teddy bear story too! It's amazing the places you will find toys that they really like!
