Chilly dogs "white north winter coat" Reviews?

I bet cold cold weather really makes those sheltie coats nice and fluffy!!! The coldest I have experienced is central Quebec in winter, but I was just a kid. Just the thought of -40 makes me want to cry.

If it is -40 to -50, you are not going to be out there that long and you are certainly not going to let Lacey be out there that long. Boots - yes, coat - no. You will find she will develop a heavier coat of her own.

Reality is that in the Great White North, there are some days when a 1 hour walk with the pups is just not feasible. Sometimes with the windchill it is -40C and its in and out....now lets snuggle by the fire.

But those days of -40 are maybe a handful in an entire winter - even in Brandon, MB. I've never resorted to boots, but if you are worried, then I would focus on the boots. They really don't need the jackets, unless of course you're trying to keep off the snow.

If it's snowing that heavily, the dogs and I ain't walking....they go into the backyward, do their business and are towelled as they come inside.

btw - I just picked up a blanket for drying dogs at the dollar store today. Can't wait to see how it works. It kind of feels like a chammy. I think it might work better than a regular towel. We'll see.
