Me and one other teammate did about 90% of the box loading. I even ran Sca and box loaded almost 100% for another team at CanAm one year. CanAm is VERY and I was wrecked. To make things worse on their last run they had a box failure.
 
I tried flyball with Brodie... I thought he'd LOVE it since he loves all things fast and all things fetch and carry.

My VERY snobby sheltie apparently will not mouth a ball that has another dogs spit on it.... who knew??!!!! Of course, this is my same dog who will NOT eat food from 'strangers'.... "stranger danger!". Yup, he gingerly takes, then spits out unless I give him treats.

Deacon will eat anything, but is very against all things exercise. If he clues in that an activity is good for him, he'll stop. Fetch and Frisbee are all good and fun if he's only focused on annoying Brodie and trying to steal things from him. The minute he figures out he's exercising, he's done.

We had a dog on the team. Had his own balls and his handler would clean all the hair off them each night. Very high maintenance.... but then so was the owner one of my lesser picks for a teammate as she did not contribute and help much. We had some super awesome people but there were a couple.... One of them Sca did not like :ROFLMAO: Yep the dog who was positive everyone was his friend; dogs people did not matter. But her meh, no thanks :ROFLMAO: Funny how they are. Spitfire only had one buddy and I think it was she ignored him. At practice he would wander over for an ear scritch, get one and wander off. I think on her part it was habit as she did not even look up or at him, also she had a million dogs.
 
OK OK OK I AM LIVING IN A WORLD OF IGNORANCE. I have heard of the flyball for years and never ever knew what it was..now I do and this is TOTAL CHAOS MIXED WITH INSANITY!!!!!! Wow I have lived a sheltered life. How in the world do you ever train a dog to do that and wow were they having a blast or what? How many people are injured and stepped on loose balls and fallen on their arse? How many dogs crash head on?? This is insanity but what fun!!! This must be border collie heaven... Liven, learning and being amazed.

Yep as a biased person. Rally, a wake. Agility a quiet day in the park. Flyball being inside an explosion :ROFLMAO:

What is wild is there is constant barking at a regular tournament (CanAm is different on every front) when all of a sudden all barking stops. It is like WOW what is that then a single dog barks and off it goes again.

I could see mine doing the same thing-- this ball has icky all over it!! Sniff sniff sniff sniff-- etc And I could see them stepping gingerly over the gates and even if they picked up the ball no way they are going to take that nasty thing all the way back.. and NO I am not going to grab that rope and swing thru the air NO NO NO. Treats???

Some run for tugs. Sca ran for treats. He was VERY food obsessed and well behaved which made him easier to train. Spitfire wellllllllll Spitfire does and Spitfire does and the rest of us can pound sand.
