We had our first trial this past weekend with the Terre Haute Kennel Club. Cleo did pretty good with this being her first trial. She ran two standard and two JWW. The first day she got a NQ on standard. She, for some reason, stopped to sniff the weave polls... ugh. That put us over by 10 seconds. Had she not done that we would have Q'ed. I did not get a video of that because my camera person couldn't tell if it was recording and I guess it was not. She did Q on her JWW and got a 35 second flat a 100%. On day two she got a Q in standard and got a 100% in 60.20 seconds. It would have been shorter than that but right at the last two obstacles she wandered off for a quick second because she saw my family watching!
But I got her back under control and she finished just fine. That video cut short because my phone ran out of space.
Our last run was JWW and she did that in 35.56 seconds but was a NQ because she knocked a bar. But overall I think she did a great job and most of all we had fun. We had a really great Judge for this as well. I also helped work the ring both days and set up and tore down the entire ring and put everything away. It was a really great experience.
