My case was relatively mild. For about a week, I was short of breath climbing stairs or making any exertion. I had overwhelming fatigue for six weeks. I really didn't care about anything and hid myself in a wonderful book series. It's so wonderful now that the fog has lifted and my interest in life is renewed! I will start back caring for my friend's horses, beginning with one day, then doing a fatigue check.
 
Be careful! I have read that exercise often leads to a relapse in recovery :(
I think the long recovery has been drastically under reported.
and by that, I mean after you are no longer positive for the virus, the long road to anything resembling being able to resume normal daily life.

Thanks, Caro. I was tested, and it was negative. So I thought I'd dodged a bullet. But my symptoms kept going -- for six weeks! -- and I learned about the large percentage of false negatives, false positives. My doc and I figure it WAS Covid 19. Fortunately, DH and DS picked up all my chores. Beckon was already fully recovered, so the story ended happily.

Could have been something else. I actually went to the hospital one year, no flu, no pneumonia just something that laid me out and plugged up breathing.
 
The lady that owns the horse I lease had it for sure. Also about 6 weeks of being really sick, all the classic symptoms, then toward the end she got the nausea and diarrhea that apparently is also part of the deal, at least for some. She could not get seen, tested or even get a chest Xray. She sounded terrible. I rode the horse more often per her request to keep him fit. She is much better now.

you sounded very much like my daughter Chris...she started back to work this week..2 days at the prison then 3 at home. The prison is clear so I am hopeful. Glad you feel better! (((Hug)))
