Comments on homepage pics rarely post

Almost every morning I head to sheltienation's homepage to get my daily fix of cuteness. Then I add a comment, but for months now they don't post (well almost never). I sent an email to the contact us on the website but never heard back. Does anyone else have this problem? I was thinking it might be something on my work computer but I participate in plenty of other websites/forums w/o problems.

I specifically added a comment this morning from my home computer & now hours later there are comments from others showing up. Kinda tweaks me because today's Sheltie beauty is a Mich. Sheltie Rescue dog & we've gotten three from them so I wanted to add a little shout-out about them. I'm ready to stop commenting but I think owners like to see positive remarks about their furbabies (I know I do ) and some of these Shelties are so cute, the pics are so adorable/funny/sweet, etc.

I know it may seem silly but it hurts my feelings when I see numerous comments but mine almost never get posted . I'm not using foul language or anything negative of course. Is anyone else experiencing this or am I in an alternate universe where I can't comment on sheltienation.com?

I have zero problems posting on the forums if it matters.

Posts to SN not showing up

Have you tried to post on your personal computer or on a smart phone or a pad to see if you get a different result? I am not having issues posting.

Here's a sentence that won't make much sense! I have the same problem, just in a different way. I post in the comments section and it takes anywhere from 18-36 hours before my comments show up. If there is a solution, I would love to hear it.

If you have a facebook account you can post comments that will bypass me and be automatically approved. Most comments have to be manually approved by me before release. This is the only way I can keep the site 100% spam proof. I wonder if you comments are somehow being routed directly to the comments spam folder. I have to admit I do not check every post in that folder before deleting. The site gets about 1500+ spam comments every day.

Jomuir, PM me your email address and I'll be better able to check to see where you are posting your comments. I'm very sorry yours do not seem to be making it for some reason, but I'll do my best to sort that out.
