Honestly, the best way to go about answering your question is to talk to the breeders themselves. There are many, many factors that go into determining the sale price of a show-quality puppy or dog; it would be very difficult to say what the nation-wide average is.
I see that you live overseas; though it's a long way to travel, I highly recommend that you plan to attend the 2013 ASSA National if you are interested in purchasing a show-quality puppy from the US. This would give you the opportunity to meet many different breeders, see many different dogs, and learn more about what might be available to you.
