Confused MMM

Oh, that is so Bacca! He loves to play King of the Mountain! It's like something from the Lion King! He climbs up high, and then looks out majestically over his kingdom....."My loyal subjects...." Snort! :rolleyes2::smile2:

MMM's mom is Checkers (from Rabbit Run, and now with Ann), and Checkers' dad is Alex, Bacca's dad. So...MMM's granddad is Bacca's dad (Alex, from Shelhaven). They ARE related!
 
Patty, we all really need to write the family tree. I knew Bacca and McKinley were related somehow, but didn't know exactly how. I didn't realize it was THAT close. MMM really looks alot like Bacca in that picture.

And Barb, Ron is just fascinated with the motion of McKinley's walk/trot/gait. He throws his paws in such a way so that it looks like he floats, almost like he never touches the earth. Is that what you see in Bacca?

That's it exactly! It's especially noticeable in his trot, where he seems particularly sassy! Something in the way he kicks out his front paws. Must get a video someday!

Indy is nothing like that. He takes short little mincing steps, even at full gallop!

Regarding the family tree....Ive been meaning to check out Facebook - they have some kind of Family Tree application and was wondering if we could adapt it for our use somehow?

Hmmm....I think you right! Bacca's dad is Alex. Alex begat Checker who begat MMM. That means that Bacca and Checker are siblings (altough from different moms), and therefore Bacca is indeed an uncle. Sorta!

Hey, Bacca! Did you know that you are uncle? He's doing spins and leaps! "Does this mean more treats"? :winkgrin:

God only knows how many other pups he's an uncle to! Makes your eyes spin doesn't it!!!! :confused2:
 
Of course Lightplum's Noah and missjennysgirl's Tansy is in there too. Noah, Tansy and McKinely are littermates.

The family tree on Facebook sounds like a good idea.

Ann says that her Barkley "floats" in his walk too, but that Checkers doesn't and Ann was wondering if maybe it is a guy thing in the family line.

And MMM is alot like Barkley from what I can tell in personality. MMM is the biggest goofball and he knows it. He is as smart as can be, but you can tell he just loves being silly and making Ron and I laugh and smile at his antics.
