Corn cob!

Good to hear she is doing well. Zulu is the same way. I have to scan the area as we walk, constantly looking for anything that may trigger his scarf mode. He is very good at "drop it", but he is lightning fast when he targets anything that he thinks might be edible!

Thank you Hanne! Yes, she does look like an angel but I call her my clever little monkey. She's ALWAYS getting into some kind of trouble! She is feeling really well already - hopefully I can keep her entertained for the next 2 weeks!

It took her literally less than a second to swallow it! Yes, we are very lucky that I saw it - if I had not, and it had moved into her intestines, things could have turned out very differently :-(

Yep, this dog will eat ANYTHING! Anything at all. I am constantly checking our environment but sometimes she's just too fast for me. Hope she enjoys wearing her muzzle :cry:

Yep, same with Skylar. It's funny, Spirit would never in a million years pick up something off the sidewalk, but Skylar thinks nothing of consuming everything in her path. Sort of like a vacuum cleaner :wink2:
 
Whoa! Glad she is doing well, but geez what a price to pay for corn! I understand your pain. My dog is often walked with a muzzle for the some reason. My neighborhood has a lot of food scraps on the sidewalks and my dog is quick and a food hound. She has grabbed stuff off the ground in the past and luckily everything turned out okay, but I don't like to take chances, so she wears her Hannibal Lecter muzzle. Silly dogs!
