we've been having random barking so I didn't let him watch Bailey's video- he doesn't need to get any ideas about doing stuff. he dragged all the beds all over when he was smaller- he hasn't been doing that recently.
he was down the hall and I thought he was barking at Happy trying to get him to play- turns out he was in the hall bathroom. not sure what that was about or what he was barking at in there. I told him he just had a bath and didn't really need another one :winkgrin:

You got some good shots! They look happy and clean.

My favorite is the one of Cranberry sitting on the table with his big smile.

Cranboy is silly- he barks once and then he lays down. then he goes to the other pups and barks at them until they either growl at him or chase him - which to him is playing so he gets some fun either way. :winkgrin:

Wonderful pictures! Geesh..I ca'nt believe how Cranpup has matured in his looks even since the gathering.He is stunning.Callie is just gorgeous as well.

When you see thiese pups in person,you can't get the full benefit as in only pictures.I cannot tell you how awesome it was meeting these pups,as well as everyone's in person.

Happy looks like he is feeling better.Give him a hug,and I hope he continues to get better.

and at least in Cranpup's case, good breeding. I really can't wait to see how he looks with his big boy coat.
One of the people I met at Petsmart on Sat couldn't believe that I got Callie from a rescue. but her rescue has had some beautiful shelties- blues and even a bi-black. If only I had a ton of money and way more time.

and Happy- not sure if I told this before. Happy was from a no-kill shelter- given up by family w/kids. because of his medium size, mostly families were interested in him but the shelter didn't want to put him back into a situation with kids. the family who gave him up said he nipped the baby- not sure how old the baby was..... but found out from one of the volunteers that there were other kids so I had to wonder what they did to him. so after narrowing my potential choices of 6 dogs to 3- one was a younger dog and the volunteer said would probably be adopted quickly, other was a sheltie/keeshond mix- they said someone was interested in him so I took Happy since he seemed to need the home the most. I changed his name from Albert to Happy on the way to the petstore- he was Happy to have a new home and I was happy to not have an empty home anymore- had lost my Danny boy a couple of weeks earlier. a year or two later, I visited their website and the sheltie mix was still there- I was very sad to see that and I don't know what ever happened to him.
so Happy has been pretty happy for over 6 years now :yes:

thanks for the compliments- I have been lax about taking pix since we got back from SC. we had such an awesome time and meeting everyone and their pups was so cool.
I hope that Happy is better- not sure yet- I'm gonna go with not worse though :wink2:

of course, when they were playing one day and I was inside the house, (aunt, uncle, dad etc) all outside with the pups- I hear my uncle calling their dog- and I think 'oh no- what happened while I was in here'- go back outside and stand on the porch (http://cranberrycallie.shutterfly.com/420) that's the view- the brown/tan strip on the hill in the distance- yeah- both dogs were all the way over there- Marley decided to go on an expedition and Cranboy went with her- well, I called him and he came running back- I was so proud of him. I had been worried about letting him run around off-leash but he was great. seems the only distraction that has kept him from coming to me when called is when someone else has treats. Katherine can vouch for that since he saw her treats at the sheltie party and wouldn't come to me-he wanted whatever she had. we had this problem at agility play night recently too- wanted the treats that he saw one of the other people giving their dog. gonna have to work on that :yes:
