Crating Issue / Opinions?

Today

I am home for a couple hours with my girl, then heading out for a concert. Have been stressing all day about leaving her... not because I think she'll care (really, Hover Mom... get away, but leave my kong, stuffed to the rim please) LOL) all that much but am worried about the landlord... I did take half a day so I could have a couple hours at home and have her out and about... I have explained to a couple of people that life doesn't stop, it gets accomodated when you get a dog, but I still have the right to go out once in awhile...

Thanks for easing my stress! It's sort of hard, she lives upstairs from me and tonight she was outside and I stopped for a second and she lit into me to get right upstairs and "get that puppy outside, she's just a baby and she NEEDS to get out to pee"... It "Troubles" her that I don't have people at my beck/call to walk my dog during the day ... and she's all cooped up in that crate...

.

so is the landlady volunteering to walk the dog during the day?

Haha!

She might ... but I don't like her entering my apartment when I'm not there... that and she thinks the way I'm training is stupid because she's never gone to training and she's done fine, so shewould never use the commands I've learned with my class we are going to... it's okay - I've managed to avoid her and my stress level is far less. I ordered the new crate, and the new velvet bed (hot pink no less) has already arrived to go with it!

I trust the trainer and my vet implicitly and just needed to vent it out of my system :-). I swear this woman (LL) forgets I am 50, not 5, and don't need "guidance" ...LOL!

Landlady/lords can be pretty possessive of their tenants- think they know everything and that their way is the only way. one of the reasons that I bought a house when the opportunity arose......
