My boy is 10 months old and I can hardly believe it. It feels like we just brought him home last week, yet I can hardly remember what life was like without him.. a whole less exciting and fun, I'm sure! Looking back on some baby photos, I am now realizing that he is really looking like an adult now. Part of me wants my baby back, but most of me thinks he is the best thing ever as he is right now 
We play agility twice a week now, and have started using all the different crosses on course.. a lot different than when using them in 1-3 obstacle sequences. For the longest time, I was feeling so down and frustrated because I just couldn't understand some things and I felt like I was letting him down. It got to a point where I was so anxious about going to train that we had to take a 2-week break. I took a step back and am really realizing now what a GREAT team we are, albeit young and inexperienced. We have only been playing for 4 MONTHS, yet we can navigate novice courses with little issues. In the past 2 weeks, I have gotten numerous compliments on what a great little dog he is. He always gives me 110% on course and is SO eager to please. Given that we initially started agility to build confidence and get some exercise, I couldn't ask for more from him
On a more personal note, Cruz got to go on his first road trip to Whistler a couple of weekends ago! He was such a good little traveller on our 7 hour drive, and didn't put up a fuss once... not even when our air conditioning overheated in the 40+ (Celsuis) degree heat! In fact, that may have been his favourite part of the trip as we stopped and he got to swim in the river and share our lunch with us
We had such an awesome weekend hiking and swimming in the sunshine. Cruz is loved everywhere he goes.. everybody is his best friend these days!
