Quick update! Little man is now 9 months old - 19.8lbs and a smudge over 15". We have been busy, busy, busy over the last couple of months! Cruz got neutered at the end of April (per our breeder contract) - a not so fun week, considering we had to keep our busy boy "quiet." We used that time to work on contacts for agility as well as learn a whole whack of new tricks. Close the door, bow, handstands, put your toys away, put the laundry in the basket.. just to name a few
yup, we are making him earn his keep around here! The neuter hasn't changed him much - he is maybe a bit more cuddly (when he wants to be), but is still our nutso, busy little boy.
We are fully engulfed in an agility life, going to classes and working on our own 2-3 times per week. Our trainer sees so much potential in this little pistol, and he truly does love it! Because of this, we have put the CGN classes on hold.. he just wasn't enjoying them and it wasn't fair for me to force him into it. Maybe one day when he has settled down a bit we will get into it again (I just don't think obedience moves fast enough for a guy that's constantly on the move haha).
Apart from agility, we have been soaking up the sunshine and going on hikes as often as we can. Cruz LOVES the water so we often try to go on ones that end at the lake or pond or waterfall. Once the lake warms up the humans will be able to join in the water fun too! For now it's just fun to watch him frolic
