My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all during this very difficult time. May the Good Lord Bless you all and watch over you. Know that we feel your pain for your loss of Dakota.:cry: He fought as best he could and he knows how much you all loved him and always will. True is being such a loving girl by helping you all through this. Isn't it amazing how they just know what to do to help us along. God Bless and know my prayers are with you all at this time. May God watch over your Mom as she heals from her surgery.:sadsmile:

Becky, I'm so very sorry. It's never easy to say good-bye to a family member. You all did your very best to make Dakota's last days the very best they could be. God bless and comfort you all.
 
My dad metioned that he wanted a memorial for Dakota in their living room. I told him I would buy it for him...but don't know what to actually get. Does anyone have any ideas? At first I was thinking a photo of Dakota with a poem or something...but don't know where to buy it.
 
Tribute Photo Album

My wife and I created a tribute photo album using Shutterfly to honour Honey's memory. I printed out the Rainbow Bridge poem and glued it to a blank page at the front of the album.
 
I just googled "animal memorials" and a bunch of great options came up. Depending on what you'd like to spend, there are many options out there.

I think an in-house memorial is a good thing. I have my cat Panda in a pretty urn with a special tag made especially for him. Everytime I see it I am reminded of what a wonderful boy he was.
 
I've been away for a while and just saw this. I'm so sorry to hear about Dakota. I always had him in my thoughts. I hope you and your family are doing ok. Hugs to all of you!
