Darn Puppy Teeth

Keiran turned 6 months on June 3rd and just about all his puppy teeth are out... all except two stubborn upper puppy canines. (All his littermates have lost their puppy teeth.) Those two teeth are showing absolutely no sign of wanting to fall out and the adult teeth are coming in layered on top of them. (The adult teeth just pushed through on Monday.)

Yesterday we saw the vet about it and today he was dropped off for mild sedation to have those pesky canines removed. So, while I know he is safe and cared for (EVERYONE at the Vet's office has fallen in love with the cuteness that is Keiran) I'm still a little uneasy because he's not home with Edan and CJ.

The end of the day won't get here fast enough.

He will do great, but it is always nerve racking when one of our little ones gets put under. Of course you know Keiran will expect to have soft ice cream and lots of extra attention when he gets home. :wink2:

LOL!

He may expect soft ice cream instead he's getting his ears glued down again and a nice long walk. Maybe some ice cream afterwards. ;)

Sending good thoughts your way that our little Keiran will come through with flying colors and will be home before you know it. :fl

hope all is well now

really I should have loaned ya Savannah, she loves tug of war with rope toys, and that popped hers out easily. She would have gladly stayed at it until those pesky little things had come out. She thinks tug of war is an all day event. Or maybe she could have taught Keiran all about chewing on various textures like she does and they would have budged, she lost one of hers gnawing on rose bush canes...But since she is part beaver, hers were bound to loosen, ha.

Keiran deserves soothing cold stuff, how about a broth dipped frozen knotted tube soak to make it all better.
