No, they were placed separately. The boy was placed with a family who's used to foster and eventually adopted a *very* special needs sheltie that recently passed away and the female was placed with another excellent home with siblings to play with...

Sad and happy at the same time, but that's what's fostering is all about.

That's great news that they already have homes. Now they can settle in to having a normal and fun puppyhood. Sharon - you are so right. If they have a happy environment they will be happy, even without their tails. My Deska has a shortened tail and he doesnt know, he still wags it around.
