Hehe.. yeah that would have been rough. I'll try and video it this weekend DW broke our tripod so I need to pick one up.
 
Haven't updated this lately and thought I'd get folk caught up. :)

We went to another flyball class yesterday. Darby can now run the complete course without errors. There's only two things left to train him on, passing other dogs and how to do the box turn without a devider in place.

Deja did pretty well as well. She is able to get up on the box and now catches the ball just fine. She is at about 50% on catches! She's not very fast yet but I think that will come as she gets more confident in what she's doing.

It looks like one if not both dogs will be ready for our next tournament, in June. i'm so excited!!
 
Another week, another class :)

Deja did the full course yesterday. She is still using the divider to teach her turns but she went down, got her ball and came back. She dropped it a little soon but I was still VERY proud of her. She was one touching a couple jumps as well. Dang she is beautiful when she runs!! She is having a blast with it and erveryone on the team loves how she prances at the end of her runs.. It's like she is taking a victory lap!

Darby has refined his box turn and is very quick. We timed him yesterday at 5.2 sec. He still needs to learn to pass other dogs and we need to get him to stop running away at the end of his run but Dang he's amazing!

You could tell Darby found his calling, when you showed us the video of your training in the living room, that dog is CRAZY for it

You must be so proud.. I cannot wait to admire some videos of Sheep Darby and Deja Prance!
