Dental Clens Pads

Has anyone used pads to clean their dogs teeth? In the olden days (as my folks call it) you didn't brush your dogs teeth, just give them chewwies. Now, it seems like you almost HAVE to do it to keep them clean and healthy. My female is very antsy about everything grooming wise, but she'll let me do it. However, I'm not too willing to brush her teeth (though she has extremely bad breath), but my mom's friend recommended Drs. Foster & Smith Dental Clens Pads.
 
Sounds interesting...but won't you still have to stick your fingers in her mouth ? I use a dog toothbrush for Sally and I let her lick off some of the doggie toothpaste then brush. She seems satisfied to have tasted it first and after her meal she usually isn't quite as starved as she is at other times. Let us know how they work.

yep, still gotta go in the mouth but its not harsh like the toothbrushes since its your finger doing all the work. She lets me look at her teeth and poke at them, so I'm thinking this might work for us. Ruutu basically opens his mouth for me on command since he lovvves to put things in his mouth he shouldn't so I think this would be nice and simple on him. I was going to try a pad when my mom's friend was gluing his ears for us, but he was still teething and I didn't want to hurt him and/or get an infection from it.
 
I brush her teeth some but not nearly every day. It helps some but I 'm going to have to bite the bullet and do a dental.
