I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Derringer.
What wonderful memories and images you have to remember your special heart dog. We always wish we could have more years with them.

thank you all :sadsmile: he was a great dog. My parents said their two other dogs are having the worst time, but us humans seem to come at peace with it. I'm just glad he waited until I moved back from NC.

What a lovely boy, I can see how he would have been hard to give up! I love the 2nd pic of him playing tug with Honey, showing her how to be a good Sheltie. I am sorry he has gone but he had a nice long life which balances the loss a little I hope.
