Deska is an absolute slob when he eats bones and gets covered with blood. It is particularly bad this winter (maybe because his coat is thicker). And it is really difficult to remove the blood stains. The smoked bones and the lamb necks don''t stain much but Tully gets them stuck in her back teeth.
Does anyone cover up their manes when they eat. Any other ideas? I like to give them a bone when I go to work for breakfast but not if Deska spends the rest of the day wiping his bloody mane all over my yellow couch.
