Dirty, smelly fur from peeing

Two boys, no marking!

Though sometimes Indy has residue left on the hairs that grow out of his "you know what". Never an issue for Bacca, but I do need to carefully trim Indy's less than reproductive part so as to remove long hair. If I don't, then Bacca is very good about helping Indy keep it clean...Ewwwww!:no:

ROFLMAO!!!!!! :dead:

Not yet..we are planning to do it soon and hopefully this will reduce the amount of marking that he partakes in!

I never thought about trying baby wipes....we currently just use a dry towel to wipe him but this is definately worth trying. I think I might also try the waterless shampoo for the worst days!

I had to smile when I read the word feetsies  I love it!!

Ha ha, I'm sure I spelled it wrong, how do you spell feetsies (sp?).. As Randi said also, for the hoo hoo spot use unscented, but maybe for a freshening up of the fur on Domino's upper body use scented!!

Feety feet feets feetsies, there cute :wink2:

I like the fettsies, but the hoo hoo spot is even better  !

Yep I got wipes and rolls of Viva for the Dirtball Diva (Lady), she is the messer. I have to scrub her HOO HOO all the time. Nothing new here.

don't feel too bad. Megan has a friend who has a male standard poodle. Ricky has to look when he lifts so he gets himself in the face. They should buy stock in the baby wipes company lol.

Before Megan had her spay and vulvoplasty surgery, I had to wipe her, (here's another word for it) "tulip" so she would not get UTI's. My family makes fun of me all the time for the all nicknames I have for boy and girl 'parts'..

I have one boy that never gets a drip on him, the other one is a pig. He pees on everything, and it gets all in his hair and sometimes his front legs. I just throw him in the tub every couple of days and rinse it out. Pee is water soluble. :)

Does neutering the boys help with pee issues??

I think (sometimes) it helps with marking. Marking is a way of showing other dogs that this is their "territory" so the thought is without the motivation that they won't mark. However, I think for some dogs they just do it naturally, or it has been so ingrained in them that neutering doesn't make a difference.

Lol...as we only have one dog Domino has to clean himself...it is a funny sight to see him curled over trying to clean his "hoo hoo" area but not very gentlemanly!

I have bought some unscented baby wipes so it's time for a cleaner, fresher Domino:winkgrin:

I never realise this would be such a humorous subject!
