Do you belong to...

I was wondering, I know that in order to compete, the dog must be registered with the association (ie. NADAC, USDAA, AAC etc. ). I am going to be getting Maia registered soon, and have noticed that there are also 'people' registrations for these associations. Are any of you members of any of these? If so, what are the benifits?

I'm a member of CPE and TDAA. With CPE, the benefits I remember off the top of my head is a discount on registering the dog and an updated printed and spiral bound copy of the rule book.

Membership in TDAA, again off the top of my head, gives you voting privileges within the organization.

I also view it from the perspective of it helps these organizations with the revenues they need to continue to function and provide sanctioned agility competition.

In both CPE and TDAA becoming a member of the organization is optional but registering the dog is required.
