Do you ever get tired of....

I think part of why I'm mad at my dogs is that in the morning, they start hovering and doing circles if they see me gather up my car keys and purse. At this point, its apparent that they don't CARE that I'm leaving, they just want the cookie they get when I leave the house. (memo to file: must stop that practice!)

And when I come back, they will mostly ignore me if its long before supper. But if I come home around supper then I'm their very bestest friend! Yippee, mom's home! Love you, Mom! p.s. will you feed us now????

So who rules in this house? HaH! Like I need an answer to that question!:lol:

When I"m getting ready to leave the house with my working clothes on, as I'm putting on my shoes Lexi is crazy. Biting my feet and shoes so I have a hard time getting them on. Sat. clothes...no problem putting on shoes! Even if I'm leaving her, she just calmly goes and gets in her crate. I guess 'cause when I'm going to work, it's a longer time before I come home??? Part of the problem is...they're just too smart!

Lexi does this to me...she knows that in the mornings once I get dressed it is time for me to leave/time for her cookie. She barks and practically herds me out the door.

Yes, it's a bit obnoxious, but I prefer it to worrying or separation anxiety.

I have not used the bathroom in private in four years. My two follow me every where. Unless, my idiot neighbor is making lots of noise with his motorcycles or his dog is barking, they are usually quite and sleep beside me while I work on the computer.
A few things I do which seem to poop them out: One half hour brisk walk per day. About 4-5 sessions of 15 minute ball launching sessions per day. And 10 minutes of training together. ( I should really do more of that) I play tug with Ryder, the younger one, short periods a few times per day.
I also have a bug off instant screen door so they come and go as they please.
They both go to daycare every Thursday, which is my cleaning day, and day of peace.:smile2:

Thanks! except for the crazy neighbor which drives Ryder INSANE!!! And therefor drives me insane, they are pretty calm. The neighbors motorcycleS ( capital S because he has about eight of them)and yapping dog never bothered Maverick before, but since Ryder, he has picked up the bad habit of barking too.

Nope never get tired of my two. My boy Lucky is 10 and I am so thankful he is my spunky little boy and I cherish the days I spend with him. Lil' Lady is hysterical, and brings lots of laughs around here with her antics.

I get a kick out of both of them, they know my play clothes for around the house, and they know my better clothes when I am leaving. They get in their spots for a good-bye treat. Lady whines a little even though she has full use of the house when I leave. Its like, but what if I need you.

Maybe I should buy her a cell phone for Christmas, so she can call me. Oh my!

My boys are crazy and obnoxious at times but they make up for it in so many other ways.
Mine know my every move. Its scary. If only my husband understood me that well.
