Dog seatbelt

So, based on the crash test studies only the sleepypod one passed.
Does anyone have one?
I am looking at getting one and am interested in what people think.

I had seatbelts that attached to the harnesses that the dogs wore regularly but when I upgraded the car, the puppers all got their own car crates.

I considered it, but read a lot of reviews saying that dogs on the smaller end of the spectrum were either able to get out, or they couldn't get comfortable because of poor fit. I wanted to try it, but their return policy is awful, so I have to come up with another solution for my car.

Hmm..
Luckily Gavin is a super Sheltie at 35 lbs :)

I bought through Amazon, so I think they have to take returns (and the seller's page has no info saying they don't).

I tried looking it up on the sleepypod website and they don't have a listed return policy :confused2:

I can't find the information now (of course) but when I was looking I saw that not only do you have to pay to ship it back, but you also have to pay a restocking fee

I know the amazon sellers are very limited and different based on size....Mine sent from manufacturer but that seller is no longer is listed. Maybe they weren't prepared for the interest from being the only people to pass the crash test? most of their items are for very small dogs, too.

I will let you know what we think. I already have the ruffrider roadie, at least this one has clips for easier on and off.

I contacted them personally and they could not assure me that dogs could not slip out of the harness. I use the Ruffwear Webmaster for a regular harness and I have a Kurgo strap that goes to the seatbelt loop so I use that with the regular harness.
