So Gavin has gone through a lot of dog boots in the past few years. initially, he wore them out where you would expect, the grip bits on front of his forefoot. Well, over the years, he has moved more to the tips of his toes. So they wear out at the tips of the boots where there is much less rubber padding.
Gavin wears them on his rear paw only, so the size is 1.75 inch.
I have ruffwear grip tex (stiffer) as well as ruffwear summit trex (softer). Some have more life in them than others but they all have some, the hiking boots having quite a bit as the tread is almost all there. both of these are sold in pairs since the front feet are usually a size smaller than the rear.
