Dogs ticklish?

My boyfriend and I are a bit curious about Zoey's odd behavior when we rub her belly and side. Usually dogs like being rubbed in that area, they get the little twitching leg.

However when we do that to Zoey, she will turn her head over to the hand that rubs it, and sort of try to bite it (but not in an aggressive way). She just twists around and her tail wags here and there. But the most obvious sign is that she will start panting in a really loud and quick way. It sounds like someone quietly giggling...

So could Zoey be ticklish? I wish I had a video to show what she exactly does but I don't at this time.... However, here's a cute picture of her as of last week.

Could be ticklish. I know Noah would react with the back leg, like he was scratching if I scratched his belly, or he would just lie there with a great big grin, he enjoyed it so much. Sometimes Emma will or Noah would reach around to grab at my hand. Once they touched it and I stopped, they would put their head back down and then let me scratch them again.

At this point Megan doesn't seem to like having her tummy rubbed! In fact when I try, she kind of tenses up sort of and then moves away from me. But I have been known to force my affection onher anyway, :wink2:

It could be! I never thought of that before.

Lexi does something similiar. She grins, and mouthes at whatever is closest to her (normally the couch or the carpet) when she is upside down. She grins the whole time.

She looks like a Duncan twin in that picture!!!

Too cute. I think they may be ticklish or just playing.
