She is indeed on the forum -- but she posts a lot on the FB page and any personal notes/questions might be more quickly returned.

Mia is a lovely and lucky blind/deaf all white double merle (lethal white) pup. There is another lady with them too. In fact, here is a blod that Michele just recommended on the FB page.

Of course you can join us. Come join us. Imagine us all whispering Join Us. Join us crazy Sheltie people. No wait, in horror movies that scares people away.

Some of us have definite opinions about purposely breeding merle to merle, and that can get pretty heated. But as for the pup and you- good for you for providing a wonderful loving home.

The board automatically corrects a lot of misspelling. And I haven't seen a Spelling Dictator on this board, and think it would be shut down immediately if it started.

And sometimes our dogs take over and they don't always type well either.

Thanks veryone for your kind comments. OK, now I finally figured how to get back to this site--I will be psting TONS of pics...just as soon as I figure out HOW to do that!! I only see where to add a link, not a photo here....can anyone help??
 
Paid members can direct post a pic using the paperclip on the message typing screen. Non-paid members need to post a link to someplace like FB, photobucket, youtube, a blog, etc. Just make sure the permissions are set to public on the pix.

It's such a good opportunity to educate on the horrible practice of double merle breedings and of course we'll support you and definitely want to see your baby, it's not your nor the dogs fault!

I just wanted to mention that just because one has one have one doesn't always make one an expert, lol. But yes, it's too bad it happened, I hope we will keep in mind that there are unscruplous people out there who think it's worth the risk such a breeding, but it's just not.
 
I'm new here but there's one thing you can be sure about...Sheltie parents are loving, kind accepting people.
I'm also hoping they forgive me when I admit I strayed...I adopted a B&W Border Collie to go along with my 3 Shelties. It was a sad day when I had to explain why he didn't look like his siblings..he was SHOCKED to discover he was adopted!
