Ear infection

Odd Question...

Did you stick your nose in there and give a good sniff :eek2:

Yeast infections are nasty and smelly. You would get a yeast infection if some water stayed in her ear after a bath.

yes- do this. Yeast infections have to be treated with antifungals.
This is typically what Callie gets and the vet is always sniffing her ear if I bring her in for head shaking/pawing etc.

Took Lexi in today...$66 later, she's fine. The vet saw some irritation/inflammation but thinks that the antibiotics must have already cleared most of it out.

So, we'll keep up with the Tresaderm 2x a day.

(Also, Lexi was a HUGE wimp at the vet's. It was her first time there without Bentley, I think. She was cowering and didn't even want to walk in. Once in the room she just sat on my lap until I put her on the table)

Happy to hear there is just a little irritation. Poor girl didn't have her buddy with her to calm her anxiety. Gypsy gets the same way now. Can't blame them I hate going to the Dr.s also.:(
