Early Christmas Present

I wish people got ME Christmas presents like that! I'm asking for the 'Agility-in-a-bag'. But I'd settle for a pile of pvc pips.:rolleyes2:

 I contemplated about making my own weave poles with pvc, that's how my dad made my mom's set. At the same time, I can't practice outside anyways since I live in an apartment complex, but just saving the money of Ruutu's agility class to buy him weave poles. Lucky puppy! Perks of them not doing training during the winter :dead:

It's really not that hard. I made a 6 pole weave for about $10. Jumps are about $5.

Yep, I have tons of PVC jumps thanks to my dad. I only have an actual AKC jump in my apartment though. Of course, we can't fit too much equipment in there.

Okay, sad but true. I was thinking just the other day, "I should pick up some pvc and a pvc cutter". Why? Because I saw the PVC DW bases on affordable agility and though, "I can do that". LOL.

When did agility become synonymous with PVC?

And yes, I'm spoiled, I know it. My folks have been good to me and my brother and I'm grateful. Especially when I want something expensive. I just have to wait until Christmas. Well, I may get it early, but it just means no gift come the actual day. Or lots of little inexpensive things my mom picks up.

$40 is a nice chunk-o-change! Good for you -- and good for your Mom!!! Much better than underwear!

Um, yeah. Much better than underwear. Unless it's La Perla underwear? I have no clue, I doubt I'd ever spend that kind of money on undies.

 I got weave poles last Christmas and this year already bagged some agility shoes and a jacket for shows

Hallways are brilliant for dog training - so much you can teach in a long narrow space! Do post some videos of how Koji is getting on - I love his little face peering through the poles in the photo! :smile2:

LOL. That's how you know you have an addiction. Agility stuff for Christmas is exciting. I actually re-took the photo because I too liked that he was peering through the poles. Hehe.

congrats- what a great present:yes:

Thanks! I'm grateful.

$40 is $40 saved :wink2: The ones I was looking at were just the 6 poles practice poles for about $50.

I can't practice outside anyways since I live in an apartment complex,

Yeah, that's why I went with the competition set. I needed it to stand up and stay standing up w/o stakes since I am also in an apartment. I think the aluminum may be too light, but we'll see. Fingers crossed. If it's too light, I may have to put my dumbells on it to hold it down.
