Echo and McFly

Both boys were taken from a cruelty case in Orange County. They are in my care and very happy little guys.

Echo (two years old) is very thin so he's on a good helping of mama's home cooking along with a full ration of kibble. He only weighed 12 pounds when he came in and now I'm glad to say he's gained 2 pounds since last Wednesday!

McFly (,Mac for short) is a sweet little guy too. I think he's the reason that Echo is so thin because every time they are out side together he puts Echo on the ground and growls at him. So I no longer allow them to be out together. Mac now weighs 24 pounds up from 19 so he's now on just kibble.

Judy - it just breaks my heart to see the before pictures of these two. I can never figure out why people have animals if they are going to neglect them.

Take good care of them - they certainly seem to be thriving under your loving care.

Judy, they're both just adorable and look so happy to be a part of your Sheltie heaven on earth. God bless you for taking time and care with 'the least of these'.

They r very cute! I'm sure you wont have them for long. Thank you for taking these guys into your home. You're doing a wonderful thing. Did you have to trim their coat? Its looks short.

Aww poor little guys. Glad you have them now. Mac is an interesting color. Is he a pure sheltie? He looks like a red tri.

We speculated as to whether he was pure sheltie ourselves, but we think he is. I've had one more boy that was a red tri since I've been fostering and he has all the same characteristics as the other guy so we are considering him sheltie. If he is mixed with anything it would have to be Aussie and he just doesn't have the proper look for an Aussie/sheltie mix.

Here is a picture of Cody the other red tri.
