Keiran is easily the youngest dog I've ever had and I didn't know what to expect. True he's only 5 months old but I wasn't sure what to expect from puppy brain training wise because he can be a bit crazy around the house.
This dog is ALL SHELTIE! If there is food involved, I have his attention.
Most puppies get tired of training after a few minutes, Keiran would have worked all night for the food; and I was only using his kibble. By the end of the night I had him offering sits, beginning to down both from a sit and from a stand, waking 5-10 steps on loose leash (it's a start, we have a long way to go), and doing the basics of a come front while I move backwards a step. (He offered the sit in front of me so I figured, let's try it.)
This little 5 month old would have worked all night long if I asked it of him. I actually had to remind myself to give him a break!
