He is obviously very happy!

I had a similar case. A shaved sable boy, older, 50 pounds in weight, bad hip and hock arthritis. I was able to get him down to 39 pounds, and he grew a lot of hair! Unfortunately his hard life caught up with him and after his second bout of pancreatitis I decided I had to let him go last year.
