I really hope Spirit ends up enjoying flyball. Even though she is very tiny, she's very fast for her size. I worry, though, that since she is so small (about 12" at the shoulder) her relative speed for her size won't be enough to make up for dropping the jump height for the team. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how things play out as she learns more and more.

We are height dog poor right now so your team should be thrilled to have her. Everyone is upset with Spitfire for his lack of a brain. He should measure at just under 14" and the team would be thrilled if he ran 7 seconds (if he wasn't insane I think he could go low 6 as he runs with Sca all the time). Besides for most teams it is for fun and who wouldn't love to watch a 12" Sheltie :yes:

Aw, that's really nice to hear! I'm very involved in the agility community, and know how supportive they are, but there's not much flyball down here so I haven't really gotten to know people yet. Glad to hear that they'll most likely welcome us and enjoy having Spirit (who really is just an awesome little girl) on the team :-)
