I have also boiled some barley water for the dogs (they had some last night). Juliet falls right smack into the "yin deficient" description!Thought I would share what my friend has just tried.
Acupuncture!
She was reading on the internet that acupuncture can help along with some traditional chinese herbal medicines. She went to the vet to do acupuncture on her dog and was told that her dog had yin deficiency, and that feeding a yin deficient diet with help.
These are concepts that I'm quite familiar with coz, as an example, my mum will say that I'm getting zits coz I'm too "heaty" (meaning too much "yang"), and she'll get me to taking "cooling" (or "yin") stuff like boiled barley water, to help. I just never thought about how it would apply to dogs!
Hoping this will help my friend's dog.I have also boiled some barley water for the dogs (they had some last night). Juliet falls right smack into the "yin deficient" description!
I wonder if they make ear plugs for dogs?
