Feeling Loved

I never knew what it was like to have a snuggler until I had Mya.
If I had Mya first then Sassy..... I would be totally put out....and outright choked.
Sassy never liked to snuggle at all and laps was totally forbidden.

This way.... having Mya is such a treat.

Zoey...
She still can't stand in one spot for more than 30 seconds.
She's goes all excited when we get home, jumps on me and runs to the door for her walk.

If I randomly scream "PUPPAY", she just runs at me all excited and litterally drops-kicks me in the legs (she jumps and bangs herself on my legs:confused2:)

I look forward to the day she settles and cuddles more.
But damn she loves to lick. Ears, arms, face.

Layla took a while to become the sweet cuddler she is now. On our vacation, folks commented on how devoted she seemed -- I do love my girl!!!

Pixie and Barkley love affection but Checkers is the first real cuddler that I've had. Tonight I was stretched out on the couch and she jumped up, settled herself across my stomach, front paws on my chest and put her nose right up near my chin with those great brown eyes just looking at me. Pixie will cuddle if I have food, or if she's in the mood, or occasionally if she's cheesed that Checkers is there. But Checkers just loves to be close. It's so cool.

So glad your girl has decided to snuggle. Emma has always been like that, even when a little pup. It's frustrating though when you're lying down and she decided to lie totally on top of you and won't get off, or when she gets on the bed at night, lies on you and then slides down to settle to sleep. She expects me to move over and make room for her when I am already at the edge of the bed. She does love the contact with you. Hamish, my first Sheltie, loved to lie as tight to our feet as he could. Mom always felt bad because she was always stepping on his fur. Noah was never much of a cuddler - he was a Sheltie that loved him people but wanted his space most of the time. He would know where you were and then go lay down somewhere else.
