Finnie all cleaned up!

Today will be Blueberry and Piper’s turn!
I was definitely feeling the effects of all the lifting yesterday…that tub while not super heavy was awkward to carry up a flight of stairs and then there was Finnie…
Doing the other two will be a piece of cake compared to him.
Plus I discovered the blower my brother in law gave me (my sister had bought it to use with her dogs) has an adjustable setting for the strength of the blower. It’s so strong I think it could blow the dog off the table practically!
I’ve only used this one once before…brand is Shernbao https://www.amazon.ca/shernbao-Velo...78687-B07TPT58VN-&hvexpln=0&gad_source=1&th=1
for anyone interested. And blows either warm air or just air and has the adjustable dial. My blower is a Metro and only one speed and SUPER loud. I like the Metro but the dogs definitely don’t care for it when I first turn it on!
Blueberry has a super thick coat, I’m curious to find out if this blower on a higher setting will help to deshed her excess coat. Would be great if it did, I’m sure she’d be happy with that as well!

I have that same blower that you showed in the link. I've never used it up high and have only used the heat once when I felt it was a tad chilly out. I set my table up out on the deck, only wash and bathe them when the weather is decent for it. I broke the hose that came with it by not holding on to the rotating handle during use, but the replacement hose is longer so I like it more for blowing off my deck after I am done with the dogs.

I read that it was good for blowing the hair off a deck on a review as well! It is very strong!
I don’t find the hose too short…it does extend as you turn it on. But then I do have an attachment that holds the hose (called a third hand or something like that) so I don’t notice the length so much.

Finnie looks gorgeous! What a handsome boy he is! You'll be ready for a break after the next two! I can only do one a day. Between the trimming, brushing, washing and drying it's a few hour project and that's the extent of my energy. Good luck!
I hear you Ann…it is a LOT of work from start to finish! I know why groomers charge what they do, they deserve every penny they earn!
2 is my limit…I think having everything on one level helps and this tub definitely makes it way easier. And I do give the dog (and myself) a break part way through! lol

when we had sheltie spa weekend, we did it at my friend's place- she has the raised tub and grooming table. we went together for the forced air dryer so everything is right there. I do the brushing and the feet and she does the bathing and drying in the tub - I do sometimes put the sheltie in the tub for her- usually the bigger ones:winkgrin:
it's a good division of labor and the only way that 7 shelties would get done in one weekend:smile2:
although it did help that Reggie doesn't have much to brush:yes:
