Fire at champion foods in Sept.

I was talking to the store owner I purchase my Acana from and she said she was having problems getting the food. She just called me to tell me there had been fire last month in one of the ovens and production is down 40%.

interesting- our favorite store has had Orijen in stock but no Acana. maybe this is why.....

Yep--I heard about this not too long ago. Our stores don't have all the different sizes.

Uh-oh... we may have some difficulty getting our Acana dog/cat food tomorrow then! Thanks for the heads-up. Now I can form a Plan B, just in case.

Hmm, just bought a bag of Acana on the weekend, I think its Wild Prarie but it might be Grasslands. Hadn't heard about the fire and didn't have trouble getting it. Maybe I'll contact Global Pets, where we purchase our Acana and see if we should possibly stock up so that we don't risk going without next month.
